The sign of the Order of Alexander Nevsky is a convex ruby-red enamel covered with a five-pointed star against the backdrop of a ten-pointed regular figure, on the surface of which there are divergent.. In the middle of the star - a rounded shield with a relief image of Alexander Nevsky and an inscription along the rim with bulging letters: "ALEXANDER NEVSKY." The shield is bordered by a laurel wreath of gold. The lower ends of the branches of the wreath are covered with a figured shield with a gilded image on it of a sickle and a hammer. Against the backdrop of the rays of the ten-pointed figure, the ends of two gold-plated arms are crossed behind the round shield. In the lower part of the Order, gilded ones are crossed behind the figure shield: a sword, a spear, a bow and a quiver with arrows.
The sign of the Order of Alexander Nevsky is made of silver. The silver content in the order is 37,056 ± 1,387 g. The total weight of the order is 40,8 ± 1,7 g.
The size of the order between the end of the red star and the opposite top of the ten-pointed figure is 50 mm. The distance from the center of the order to the top of any of the enamel beams of the five-pointed star is 26-27 mm.
