View of Velez

Vélez is a town and municipality of the Santander Department in northeastern Colombia. It is considered historical patrimony, since inside we can find: Underground waterfalls, a room of stalagmites, stalactites and the fossil of the mummy of the Agata chief.
It was one of the first territories in the world and the first in Latin America to give women the right to vote, in 1853.
